More on the Library Reopening

Library Reader Card Required

In preparation for the reopening of the library announced in previous blogs we have had to rethink our users’ policy.  The full policy will be available shortly on our library webpage, but we would like to highlight one of the major new procedures.

We have decided to introduce a Reader Card requirement which will assist us in improving our service and securing the collection. From 26 September each library user will be required to present a valid Reader Card upon entering the Reading Room.

But worry not – there are no limitations on who will receive this card and all you need is £5 and proof of identity and your current address (usual driving licence and utility bill will suffice).A busy Reading Room

This card will be valid for one year and is FREE for Friends of St Bride Library. (Unfortunately, without proof of identity and address, visitors will need to purchase a Temporary Day Pass for £5.  This is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for an Annual Pass – so make sure to bring it with you even if you are already a Friend!)

Please keep abreast of developments by checking the website and visiting the blog.
