Is this Chaucer’s sauciest text?

We’ve pulled out a gem from the William Blades Library for you: a deluxe edition of William Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales. Our edition is bound in a white, blind-tooled pig-skin cover, giving it this rather special appearance.

This beauty used to belong to one Mr D Perrin, of the Lea and Perrins enterprise, and was therefore paid for with profits from the sauce!
